With our PSHCP annual 40 day supplement, you get $5,000,000 Excess Hospital Medical Insurance out of Canada, plus additional benefits, like up to $4000 trip Cancellation on the first 40 days of your trip, vehicle return, and accidental dental coverage.

The  E.T.F.S. PSHCP Supplemental Plan is quite simple- It covers you for $5,000,000. Excess limits over your $500,000 PSHCP Plan, and like your PSHCP does not have the normal Pre-Ex conditions that every other private plan has. Why is that? Because there is already a $500,000.00 "Deductible" in place for the Insurance Company.  This plan will pay only after your first $500,000.00 coverage is used up. That takes care of the little messy claims that are very expensive for an insurance company to handle. However the insurance company- RSA- will be "on the hook" for any medical claim after the first $500,000.00 is used up, plus the additional benefits listed above.  In other words if your PSHCP will pay the first part of the bill, then our ETFS  RSA plan will pay the balance-right up to $5,000,000 if necessary. Period. It's that simple.

This 40 day multi trip plan will start up or re-activate as soon as you return to your home province and leave again. Think about the potential: If you have a serious medical problem, and your Doctor says you can travel, but you are having problems getting insurance to cover your medical insurance, you can buy our 40 day supplemental insurance, and be fully covered for your condition, provided you come back to your Province of residence within the 40 day time period. You can then return to your first destination or a new one and be covered properly, all over again, up to the next 40 days, and so on. Although this may involve some extra travel expense and inconvenience, you know you will be covered, and you won't have to pay even more insurance premiums or go through an extensive underwriting process just to get a premium quote that "might" cover you.  This particular supplement is only available to PSHCP members.

There are no age limits. The premium per person, per 12 month period, based on maximum 40 day trips (the first 40) are: (Remember you must have PSHCP as a base!)

Age 0-54: $57.00 each Annually                                                                                                                                                                Age 55-59: $71.00 each Annually

Age 60 -64 $78.00  "

Age 65-69  $103.00 
Age70 -75  $155.

Age 76-80 $252.

Age 81 and up $444.00

Family rates double the singe rate (oldest age)
