RAY BATTISTON, BA,

BACKGROUND
Career Insurance Broker. Over 37
years in Insurance business. Upon
completing University degree, entered the insurance business
in 1973 as a Life Insurance Agent with Prudential of America.
Hired in 1975 by Federated Mutual as Insurance Trainee,
promoted to District Manager; specialized in sales of General
Insurance for Commercial business. In 1978 joined a local
General Insurance Agency as a Producer Broker. In 1980, formed
Ray Battiston Insurance Brokers. In 1988 merged General
Insurance portfolio into a larger Brokerage.
In 1993 left the General Insurance
Brokerage and has specialized in only Travel Insurance for
many years now. Various Travel and related
Insurance plans are also made available to General and Life
Insurance Agents in Canada. Special Insurance products sold
to residents of Ontario, Quebec, Newfoundland & Labrador, Nova Scotia, New
Brunswick, PEI, Manitoba, Alberta, Saskatchewan, and British
Columbia.
Holds an Ontario Life Insurance Agent's
License, and Life and Travel license in BC and Saskatchewan;
Representative for Insurance of Persons, Province of Quebec,
Travel Insurance or Accident Sickness license in Alberta,
Manitoba, Newfoundland & Labrador, New Brunswick, Nova
Scotia, and PEI. (One of the few Insurance Representatives
licensed in all Provinces across Canada) Married 37 years to Marion. Two children, Kipp,
