What is covered? Travel insurance is intended to cover sudden, unexpected and unforeseeable circumstances. Please read the Benefits section of the policy wording for the coverage available. Coverage is not available to any individuals who: a) have been diagnosed with a terminal illness; b) has AIDS or HIV c) has Alzheimers' Disease or any other type of demential e) treatment for pancreatic cancer, liver cancer or any type of cancer that has metastasized; e) been prescribed home oxygen in the last 12 months f) has had a major organ transplant (heart, kidney, liver, lung); or g) has received kidney dialysis treatment in the last 12 months.

TIC Travel Insurance Coordinators Visitors Medical Application Medical Questionnaire when applying for Pre-existing Conditions Coverage TIC Visitors Brochure and Rate Page TIC Travel Insurance Coordinators Insurance Policy Booklet and Insurance Please note when applying for Pre-Existing Coverage on medical conditions, at age 70 and above, you must submit Medical questionnaire to me via FAX , scanned document or mail. TIC will provide written decision which will be: 1) Covered, 2) Not Covered, or 3) Covered with Limitations or Conditions. Pre existing conditions ARE covered up to age 69, IF the medical conditions have been stable for the 180 days immediately before the effective date. Please review the definitions of this in the policy wording. Please review the exclusion at age 70 - 79. There are some limitations in this age catagory. Age 80 and plus automatically excludes pre existing conditions and requires medical underwriting. If you submit a medical application noted above which is accepted by TIC Underwriting pre existing conditions MAY be covered.
